• The upcoming release of my 2nd portrait CD, Shadows of the Electric Moon, is scheduled for September 5 2025 on New Focus Records!

• The CAPSICUM project has launched! A joint venture between Ircam, the University of Cambidge, and Miami University, this is the outgrowth of my Ircam Research Residency (Exit Presentation, blog posts: first, second, third, fourth). Active control of piano strings with electromagnets!

• The Artimis Project is going strong! We’re preparing our first paper - on optimization of electromagnet component configuration for maximum string activation (make it louder!).

• My duo is now Chainsaw Fugue (old name: electricstates). Name fits much better now. We’re playing a lot! Check out my events page.

• I launched the Cincinnati Experimental Music Calendar (CEMCal). There’s plenty of experimental music to be had around here, it’s just hard to find. No more!
