Chamber Industrial, my new CD on Tzadik, is done, pressed, and on its way out to stores! The official release is scheduled for mid-March, and I couldn't be more excited.

I am exceited to say that Solis-EA, for solo percussion and live electronics, was chosen for the 2014 SEAMUS CD!
Commission update (Sunday, 06 July 2014)
- The piece for Wild Rumpus (title still TBD!) is done, and the premier, in San Francisco, is scheduled for September 5th. Can't wait to hear how it actually sounds!
- The opera for the Guerilla Opera is now underway, and I am very excited to finally be working on it in earnest. Paul Schick is the librettist, and what he has come up with looks fabulous!
ECCE Portrait Concert in NYC (Sunday, 05 January 2014)
The January 25th, 2014 portrait concert with ECCE at Spectrum swiftly approaches! The prior week we will be up at EMPAC for a residency to record these works for an upcoming CD release. It's going to be a great week, I can't wait!
New website for the Electromagnetically-Prepared Piano (Sunday, 05 January 2014)
This actually went live a bit ago, but I realize I didn't post about it here. I am very pleased to have created a site devoted to the Electromagnetically-Prepared Piano: magneticpiano.com. This is long overdue and hopefully of interest to those wanting to learn more. There is still much to add, but I think it's a good start.
Tzadik release and Opera (Sunday, 20 October 2013)
A couple of big events to report:
-Preparations are underway for the Tzadik recording sessions at EMPAC with ECCE - see their post about it here.
-I have been commissioned by Guerilla Opera for, as you may have guessed, an opera! Preparation of the libretto is already underway with Paul Schick.
